Garmin Forerunner 255 gains various bug fixes and improvements with latest beta update
Garmin has restarted its Beta Program for the Forerunner 255, over a month after it debuted a new stable update for the smartwatch. In a forum post, Garmin explains that it has skipped alpha and beta builds to a new Release Candidate. Thus, it should soon start rolling out the same build as a stable update, provided that it does not encounter any issues during public beta testing.
Also, it is worth noting that the new beta build appears to be only available as an over-the-air (OTA) download and not through the GCM or Garmin Express services. As a result, you can trigger the manual download of the update by heading to Main Menu > Settings > System > Software Update and then clicking Check For Updates.
