@OnLeaks has partnered with SmartPrix to reveal a first alleged look at the OnePlus 12, months before the device's expected release. Typically, @OnLeaks bases these CAD renders on prototypes. Hence, the final design of the OnePlus 12 may vary from the images shown below, as proved the case with the Nothing Phone (2).
Somewhat surprisingly, OnePlus appears to have made only minor changes to the design of the OnePlus 11, itself arguably a tweaked version of the OnePlus 10 Pro and OnePlus 10T. For example, the OnePlus 12 has a centred front-facing camera, the first for a OnePlus flagship since the company adopted punch-hole cameras. The front-facing camera change is joined by slimmer side bezels and a shallower curved display.
Additionally, OnePlus has reworked its rear camera housing to fit a periscope camera, rumoured to be a 64 MP Omnivision OV64B sensor that delivers 3x optical zoom. OnePlus has also moved the LED flash array, likely to accommodate the new telephoto sensor. Currently, the OnePlus 12 is rumoured to feature 50 MP primary and 50 MP ultra-wide-angle cameras, as well as a 5,000 mAh battery and a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset. A release date remains unknown for now, although OnePlus is likely to showcase the OnePlus 12 in China before bringing it to other markets a few months later.
