Generative AI, i.e. creation of content based on artificial intelligence, is also the number one topic at the Mobile World Congress. Qualcomm will demonstrate what is already possible with the NPUs of the current and future Snapdragon platforms on AI PCs, smartphones, IoT devices, and even cars. The keyword is "on device", i.e. not outsourced to the cloud. Speed fanatics are likely to be eagerly awaiting the Snapdragon X Elite, for example, proving its dominance in a direct AI test with an Intel Meteor Lake chip.

Lenovo launched the Gen 1 ThinkPad X12 Detachable laptop tablet back in 2021. It stood as an excellent pick for mobile productivity, but the specs are now relatively outdated. Well, after about three years, Lenovo has finally launched the Gen 2 with the latest Intel Core Ultra CPUs.

Lenovo has now offered a first look at the ThinkBook Transparent Display Laptop, one of the most unusual devices to bear the ThinkBook badge. While only a 'proof of concept' at this stage, Lenovo provided some hands-on time with the device at its MWC 2024 event in Barcelona.

The new thin and lightweight ThinkPad T14s G5 is a major redesign of this thin and lightweight laptop. Importantly, Lenovo axes the AMD version of this model, going Intel-only. The new design focuses on making the device smaller and minimizing screen bezels.

Lenovo has announced a refresh of the ThinkPad T16. Adopting a revised design that is also more repairable, the Lenovo ThinkPad T16 Gen 3 will be available in Q2 2024 globally with Intel Core Ultra processors and an optional 4K OLED display.

Lenovo has unveiled the ThinkBook 14 2-in-1 Gen 4, a compact convertible laptop that will be available with modern Intel Meteor Lake processors. Not only has Lenovo detailed various key specifications, but it has also confirmed the device's release window and launch pricing.
