Deal | Big discount on Apple MacBook Pro 14 with M3 Pro and 18 GB RAM results in lowest price ever

Since its launch in 2023, the 14-inch Apple MacBook Pro 14 with the M3 Pro SoC has remained one of the best portable prosumer laptops on the market. Much of it is thanks to the strong and efficient M3 Pro SoC, the excellent Mini LED display, and stable performance on battery power. All of these factors still hold true in 2025, as the MacBook Pro 14 is a fantastic device to own, especially now that it can be had for considerably less than its launch price.

Best Buy now has the Apple MacBook Pro 14 with the M3 Pro SoC, 18 GB of memory, and 512 GB of storage for just $1,399. Compared to the $1,899 list price, the latest MacBook Pro 14 sale price is $500 less. One of our biggest complaints in our review of the device was the extreme surcharge that Apple charges for RAM and storage upgrades. While you can’t upgrade the RAM on the MacBook Pro 14, you can, however, invest some of the $500 saved in an external SSD to augment the internal storage.

Aside from this major shortcoming, we didn’t find much to complain about in our MacBook Pro 14 (2023) review. The laptop proved to be an outstanding product with fast performance because of the M3 Pro SoC. Moreover, since the M3 Pro is also quite efficient, the performance doesn’t take a massive hit when using battery power, and the MacBook Pro 14 lasts a good while on a single charge. For instance, our WLAN test returned a runtime of more than 16 hours. 

Last but not least, the 14-inch Mini LED display on the MacBook Pro 14 M3 Pro is a joy to use. In our MacBook Pro 14 M3 Max review, we noted that the panel boasts perfect blacks, more than 600 nits of SDR brightness (with over 1,600 nits in HDR), and 99% coverage of the P3 Display.

All in all, the 14-inch MacBook Pro 14 with the M3 Pro SoC is a near-perfect laptop for daily as well as professional use. The latest promotional price on Best Buy presents an excellent opportunity to snag the machine.
