Talking about the display, the 14-inch Mini-LED panel with a resolution of 3,024 x 1,964, 100% DCI-P3, and a 120 Hz refresh rate is a joy to use for both media watching and content creation. Being Mini-LED, the display outputs perfect blacks and gets up to 600 nits bright in SDR (1,100+ nits in HDR). Apple has also done a good job calibrating the panel as we measured a Delta E < 3.

For performance, the M3 Pro with 12 CPU cores is faster than the Core i9-14900HX in the Cinebench 2024 Single-Core and better than the Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 in the Cinebench 2024 Multi-core test. The 18-core iGPU, while not the most powerful iGPU out there, is a respectable performer that is on par with the RTX 4050 laptop GPU. So, you can also use the MacBook Pro 14 M3 Pro for some limited gaming.

Finally, when it comes to battery life and noise, we measured a Wi-Fi Websurfing runtime of more than 16 hours and little to no fan noise in most scenarios.
