Microsoft might be releasing the Surface Duo and Surface Neo later this year, but a Surface Book 3 could be in development too. Two devices that would fit the description have now appeared on 3DMark, which suggest that the Surface Book 3 will come with Intel Ice Lake processors and a choice of NVIDIA Max-Q GPUs.

Rumor has it that GlobalFoundries could offload some of the low-power Intel CPUs, including Celeron Pentium and possibly Core i3 models in order to help with the ever-increasing demand for mid-range and high-end Intel CPUs. A Tiger Lake processor from Intel has been spotted being put through its paces on Geekbench. The unnamed Tiger Lake-U quad-core chip posted 4,920 in the multi-core test, but its single-core score was quite outstanding. A noted data miner has dug out an impressive result for AMD’s Ryzen 7 4800H in 3DMark’s Time Spy benchmark. ASUS ROG is bringing a Ryzen 5 4600HS version of the Zephyrus G14 to market, the company has confirmed. The hexacore Renoir chip will come with up to 16 GB of DDR4-3200 RAM, an RTX 2060 Max-Q GPU and a 1 TB PCIe SSD. ASUS ROG will offer 120 Hz and 1080p or 60 Hz and 1440p panels with the device, too.
