PUBG Update 7.3 is now available to all gamers on PC after having spent quite some time in the Test Server. The new update offers several gameplay enhancements, survivability improvements, new additions to the Vikendi map, and a new explosive alongside the usual performance improvements and bug fixes.
A notable addition in this update is the C4 throwable. The C4 in PUBG can stick to almost any surface including vehicles (not to players, though) and will automatically detonate 16 seconds after being thrown. There is no way to detonate the explosive early or to stop it, but the intensity of the beep keeps increasing closer to detonation within the C4's damage radius of 25 m. The C4 throwable can be found as world loot in the Erangel, Miramar, Vikendi, and Sanhok maps.
Update 7.3 also brings back the parachute follow back feature to normal matches, so teammates can now land together. There are also changes to the eSports tab and the menu now shows the next Pick'Em Challenge, which will be available throughout July. The Vikendi map now includes a new train line with additional stops and scenery changes.
The changelog also notes that the Survivor Pass: Cold Front will end on July 15. From July 15 to July 22, there will be a grace period before which players will be able to claim any unclaimed rewards and redeem any remaining coupons.
The update also brings in the usual performance improvements and bug fixes. Console players are scheduled to get Update 7.3 on June 23. For more information, check out the complete changelog at the Source link below.
