Nvidia GeForce mobile options are ballooning out of control. Skip the GeForce GTX 1650 Ti and go for the superior GTX 1660 Ti instead (Image source: Newegg)

Nvidia GeForce mobile options are ballooning out of control. Skip the GeForce GTX 1650 Ti and go for the superior GTX 1660 Ti instead

The performance-per-dollar on GeForce 1650 Ti laptops aren't nearly as good as the GTX 1660 Ti which is only one step up for just $100 to $200 more. The 40 to 50 percent gaming performance gap is hard to ignore for any gamer casual or otherwise.

81% Asus ROG Strix G15 G512LI Laptop Review: $1000 USD for GeForce GTX 1650 Ti Graphics is Too Much

Low performance-per-dollar. Laptops running on GeForce RTX 2060 graphics these days are beginning to retail for about $1000 to $1200 USD, but Asus' ROG Strix G15 G512LI comes with the slower GTX 1650 Ti for almost the same price. Where is all that money going towards?

Gaming laptops powered by the GeForce RTX 2070 GPU rarely drop below $1500 without heavy compromises elsewhere on the system, but this MSI deal has got almost everything covered all for a price that's close to a slower RTX 2060 alternative.

Renoir laptops: Beating Intel at a third of the price, half the weight, and a fraction of the power

AMD's latest mobile processor offerings have left Intel a bit red in the face - and for good reason. Renoir has brought significant performance improvements across the board, largely in the form of efficiency improvements. However, there is still one question to be asked: To what extent is AMD outperforming Intel's current offerings?

Chuwi announces affordable 13-inch CoreBook Pro notebook

The premium appearance of the 13-inch Chuwi CoreBook Pro is hiding some dated specs, but at least the price seems fair. Surprisingly enough, this model integrates a quality 3:2 IPS screen with 2160 x 1440 resolution and 100% sRGB color gamut, but apart from this, the hardware specs are so 2016, with an Intel Core i3-6157U CPU, 8 GB of DDR4 RAM and 256 GB SSD.
