The performance-per-dollar on GeForce 1650 Ti laptops aren't nearly as good as the GTX 1660 Ti which is only one step up for just $100 to $200 more. The 40 to 50 percent gaming performance gap is hard to ignore for any gamer casual or otherwise.

The Dell XPS 15 9500 laptop has started appearing on certain country-specific sites with a new processor option in the configurator for the Intel Core i9-10885H processor. The high-end Comet Lake chip offers 8-core processing and can be joined by up to 64 GB RAM, a 2 TB NVMe SSD, Killer Wi-Fi 6 AX500-DBS, and the option for a UHD+ display.
The new i9 configuration has now appeared on Dell US.

Xiaomi has lifted the restrictions that it placed on its latest Mi Notebook laptops in India. Unveiled last month, the Mi Notebook 14 and Mi Notebook 14 Horizon Edition can now be purchased freely directly from Xiaomi or Amazon India.

Honor has announced 45 W Renoir versions of the MagicBook Pro, its MacBook Pro 16 lookalike. Unveiled alongside refreshed editions of the MagicBook 14 and MagicBook 15, the MagicBook Pro will be available with up to a Ryzen 7 4800H APU, 16 GB of RAM and a 512 GB SSD.

Huawei's sister brand Honor has presented AMD Renoir versions of the MagicBook 14 and MagicBook 15. Both laptops will be available with either Ryzen 5 4500U or Ryzen 7 4700U, along with 16 GB of RAM and 512 GB of storage. The differences in CineBench and PCMark benchmark scores between the 2019 Latitude 7300 and 2020 Latitude 7310 are merely just a few percentage points. For superior performance-per-dollar, the older Whiskey Lake-U-powered Latitude 7300 remains the better deal.

The publication of the JEDEC specifications is paving the way for the accelerated adoption of the DDR5 standard. The French-language version of Acer's website now has a page for a new notebook: the Aspire 5 A514-54-50DU. Cosmetically, it seems much the same as the A514-52 we reviewed a couple of months ago. However, this one apparently has an Intel Core i5-1135G7 CPU rather than the Comet Lake silicon of the pre-existing model.
