Teclast announces T.Bolt 10 DG slim and light 15.6-inch laptop with Iris Xe Max dGPU
Teclast is mostly known for its budget-oriented devices that appear to be premium on the outside, but are really just entry-level products with very modest specs to keep that MSRP as low as possible. However, with the announcement of the new T.Bolt line of laptops, Teclast is moving away from the budget sector and trying its hand at some mid-range specs while keeping the premium finish. First model from the T.Bolt series to be released soon is the 10 DG 15.6-incher with a slim and light premium look plus quite decent specs to boot.
10 DG is powered by the Intel Core i7-10510U Comet Lake CPU. Intel’s 10th gen is still a good solution when it comes to ULV processors, but Teclast probably felt like jumping from Gemini Lake Refresh straight to Tiger Lake would be too expensive, given the implementation costs for Thunderbolt 4 connectors. Still, to somehow compensate for the subpar iGPU, Teclast offers the 10 DG with an Iris Xe Max 96 EU 4 GB discrete graphics solution.
The full list of specs also includes:
- FHD IPS panel with thin bezels
- 8 GB of LPDDR4 RAM
- 256 GB NVMe or SATA SSD storage plus a free SATA slot
- Backlit keyboard
- 720p webcam (not mentioned in specs, but appears in pictures)
