Chuwi CoreBook Xe to launch with an Intel Comet Lake processor and an Iris Xe Max GPU from US$699
Chuwi has released plenty of laptops of late, including the HeroBook Plus. Now, the company has confirmed that it will launch a new laptop next month called the CoreBook Xe. Funnily enough, the CoreBook Xe's specifications read a lot like the T.Bolt 10 DG Slim's that Teclast unveiled earlier this week.
Hence, the CoreBook Xe has a 15.6-inch and 1080p IPS display, 8 GB of RAM and a 256 GB SSD. Chuwi has also equipped the machine with an Intel Core i5-10210U processor that features four cores, eight threads and a 4.2 GHz boost clock speed on a 15 W TDP.
There is an Iris Xe Max GPU too, which will probably the CoreBook Xe's highlight. The Iris Xe Max has 96 Execution Units (EUs) combined with 4 GB of LPDDR4x VRAM and a 1.65 GHz boost clock. Intel's 25 W GPU competes with the NVIDIA GeForce MX350, albeit not always in games.
Chuwi plans to launch with CoreBook Xe next month. Liliputing asserts that the CoreBook Xe will start at US$699, but Chuwi is yet to reveal full pricing and availability for the machine yet.
