Chuwi has introduced a new Android tablet, the SurPad. The 10.1-inch device has 4 GB of RAM and a MediaTek Helio P60 SoC, along with support for a detachable keyboard and an active stylus. The Chuwi SurPad starts at US$249 and has an 8,000 mAh battery.

Chuwi has unveiled its latest tablet, which it has called the SurPad. Currently, the company sells the SurPad directly or on Amazon, where it retails for US$249 with a detachable keyboard. By contrast, Chuwi sells the SurPad for US$269 on its website, but it bundles a keyboard and an active stylus.

The SurPad has a 10.1-inch IPS display that resolves at 1,920 x 1,200 pixels, which Chuwi has backed with a MediaTek Helio P60 chipset and 4 GB of RAM. Android 10 comes pre-loaded on the tablet's 128 GB of storage, but there is also a microSD card reader should you need more than that.

Moreover, Chuwi has equipped the SurPad with two 8 MP cameras situated on the front and back of the device. There is also an 8,000 mAh battery, a USB Type-C port for charging it and a 3.5 mm headphone jack. Meanwhile, the detachable keyboard connects via five pins on the tablet's underside, and there is a nano-SIM card slot should you wish to enable LTE connectivity.
