Comprehensive list of all laptops featuring the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 Laptop GPU along with corresponding TGPs

All the RTX 3070 laptops you'll ever see. (Update 02/05: more laptops, TGP, Dynamic Boost and Boostclocks added) Laptops featuring the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 Laptop GPU promise a great gaming and content creation experience, but the lack of prominent TGP information means that buyers will not be able to get a fair estimate of the laptop's graphics prowess by merely looking at the spec sheet. In this article, we aim to provide a comprehensive list of laptops that feature the RTX 3070 Laptop GPU along with their rated TGP values. This information will be updated continuously as newer models become available.

NVIDIA Ampere Laptop GPUs, which include the RTX 3060 Laptop GPU, RTX 3070 Laptop GPU, and the RTX 3080 Laptop GPU are finally here, and we've seen major OEMs feature them in their offerings that were announced at CES 2021. While the laptops themselves boasted of impressive specs that included Intel Comet Lake-H and AMD Ryzen 5000 Cezanne processors, a critical piece of information didn't make it to the spec sheet.

We reported exclusively that NVIDIA will no longer differentiate Ampere Laptop GPUs as Max-Q and Max-P parts. Ampere Laptop GPUs will have a range of total graphics power (TGP) values that can be configured by the OEM depending on the chassis design. OEMs can also choose to implement their choice of the third generation Max-Q features (Dynamic Boost 2.0, WhisperMode 2.0) that are best suited for their configurations.

Since OEMs do not always mention the TGP values on their official spec sheets, it becomes all the more complicated for the end user shopping for an RTX 3070 Laptop GPU-powered notebook to decide which model is more performant than the other.

While our reviews will ensure such information is presented clearly, it helps to have a single resource that details all laptops — current and upcoming — featuring the RTX 3070 Laptop GPU. This is where we feel the following table helps.

The table below lists all known notebooks featuring the GeForce RTX 3070 Laptop GPU. The new RTX 3070 Laptop GPU is based on the GA106 Ampere chip and offers 5,120 CUDA cores with support for 8 GB of GDDR6 VRAM on a 256-bit memory interface.

The RTX 3070 Laptop GPU can be configured with a TGP ranging from 80 W to 125 W, which translates to boost clocks ranging from 1,290 MHz to 1,620 MHz (check out our RTX 3070 Laptop GPU page for more information and up to date benchmarks).

In the below table, we have compiled a list of RTX 3070 Laptop GPU-powered SKUs from various manufacturers and have also listed known values for max. TGP, extent of Dynamic Boost 2.0, and known boost clocks. We see that the max TGP can range from as low as 85 W all the way up to 140 W for the RTX 3070 Laptop GPU. Note that the max. TGP value is the sum of base TGP, cTGP, and Dynamic Boost 2.0.

Disclaimer: As detailed in this article, the indicated boost clocks may not be always accurate. In the table below, we have indicated boost clock values obtained directly from OEMs. The boost clocks can potentially vary when Dynamic Boost 2.0 comes into play depending on the workload.
