Durable Dynabook E10-S subnotebook for students launching for just $289 USD
Dynabook specializes in lightweight business laptops to be a solid alternative to the usual Dell Latitude, HP ProBook, or Lenovo ThinkPad models. The company's latest Windows laptop will target educators and students with its very low price of entry akin to most Chromebooks.
Called the Dynabook E10-S, the upcoming 11.6-inch subnotebook will be notable for its protective rubber bumpers, spill-resistant keyboard, and mechanically-anchored keycaps to resist drops of up to 30 inches. It's not exactly MIL-STD 810 certified, but the extra protection is certainly welcomed in classrooms.
Outside of the strong chassis, the Celeron CPU, 4 GB of RAM, and low 768p resolution are all standard for a mini laptop aimed at grade school workloads.
Dynabook says the E10-S will become available by Q2 2021 for a starting price of $289 USD with one-year warranty.
