Dynabook refreshes its 14-inch Portégé X40L-K premium business ultrabooks with Intel Raptor Lake-P vPro CPUs
Dynabook is updating its Portégé X40L premium business notebook lineup with Intel’s latest Raptor Lake-P vPro CPUs. The new Portégé X40L-K is the company’s lightest 14-inch laptop yet and is compliant with Intel's Evo specs.
Processor options include the vPro-enabled I7-1370P and i5-1350P integrating the Iris Xe GPUs, which can be coupled with up to 32 GB of LPDDR5 RAM and up to 512 GB NVMe SSD storage.
The chassis profile now measures 15.9 mm and the notebook weighs only 2.3 lbs. Despite its ultrathin look, the stylish Tech Blue magnesium alloy chassis of the Portégé X40L-K is designed to meet the rigorous MIL-STD-810H standards for strength and durability
On the display side, there is a vibrant 14-inch IPS screen with 1920 x 1200 resolution, Eyesafe technology and 400 nit maximum brightness. Moreover, this model features a four-speaker Dolby Atmos audio system, AI-enhanced HD webcam with private shutter and 360-degree dual-array microphones integrating Realtek’s AI noise reduction system, fingerprint sensor integrated in the power button plus a 65 Wh battery.
Port selection includes 2x Thunderbolt 4 connectors, 2x USB-A 3.2 Gen 1 (one with charge mode), an HDMI video out, GbE jack, audio jack, as well as a microSD card reader. Wireless connectivity is offered through a Wi-Fi 6E + BT 5.1 card.
Exact availability is not mentioned, but the i5-1350P model with 8 GB RAM and 256 GB storage will be priced at US$1,799.99, while the i7-1370P with 16 GB RAM and 512 GB storage will cost US$2,219.99.
