Last year's Gram 14 laptop can be an appealing buy for users who really want an ultralight laptop without needing to settle for slow Atom CPUs or smaller subnotebook screen sizes.

The M1 Apple Silicon has now claimed the top spot in PassMark’s CPU Mark single-thread performance charts for both desktop and laptop CPUs, thanks to the hybrid processor turning up in devices such as the MacBook Pro 13 laptop and Mac Mini desktop. The Consumer Technology Association (CTA) had indicated that its flagship Consumer Electronics Show (CES) might be able to return to a live format in 2022. Samsung has announced the Galaxy Book Odyssey, its latest 15.6-inch gaming laptop. However, the company has also revealed the GeForce RTX 3050 and GeForce RTX 3050 Ti, which will be available as Max-Q variants on the Galaxy Book Odyssey.

The Samsung Galaxy family is about to get a lot bigger. The new Galaxy Book Pro models will be one of the first Windows laptops to ship with FHD AMOLED screens for superior response times and contrast ratios than most laptops in the market today.

AMD has already released several Radeon RX 6000 desktop GPUs, but it has not forgotten about the laptop market. According to a new report, AMD still plans to deliver new laptop GPUs before the start of Q3 2021, presumably with a few SKUs ranging from the RX 6600M to the RX 6800M.

ASUS has confirmed that it will be unleashing 'the Tiger inside' on May 11 with a range of new ROG gaming laptops. At least the ROG Zephyrus M16 will be in attendance with a choice of Intel Tiger Lake-H45 processors and NVIDIA RTX 30 series GPUs ranging from the GeForce RTX 3050 series to the RTX 3070.

Alder Lake and Tiger Lake-H45 processors are not the only processors that Intel will be introducing between now and the end of the year. Tiger Lake-U Refresh can be added to that pile too, which will cover 15-28 W processors for thin and light laptops.

The new 512 GB option is only $100 USD more than the original 256 GB option. The highest-end configuration with 512 GB of storage and a 4K UHD touchscreen is also finally shipping for the promised launch price of $2000 USD.

The mouse is about 8 gram lighter than the original Orochi V1 to be one of Razer's lightest to date. Its new design is simpler, sleeker and more travel-friendly than before as well.

Razer's latest wireless mouse has a renewed design that is, as the OEM claims, ideal for various grip or handling types used for gaming. Intel has announced its first financial report for 2021, which is for the first quarter of this year (1Q2021) that has just ended in March. It shows that the chip giant's net income is US$3.4 billion - 41% less compared to that of 1Q2020. Its earnings are also down by 1% year-on-year (YoY), even though its computing business is up by 8%.
