Asus has reportedly ordered just 10,000 foldable OLED displays and cover films from BOE, SKC, and Kolon Industries for its first ZenBook 17 Fold OLED laptop with bendy screen. That's the same amount HP is alleged to have tasked LG and SKIET with for its own such foldable laptop which, however, will be released later than the ZenBook.

AMD officially launched Ryzen Pro 6000 series today. The Ryzen Pro 6000 series is targeted at commercial users and is based on the 6 nm Zen 3+ architecture with RDNA 2 integrated graphics. AMD claims significant performance and battery life numbers, particularly with the Ryzen 7 Pro 6860Z in comparison with the Alder Lake Core i7-1260P.

Asus has announced some prices and availability info for its latest Republic of Gamers (ROG) laptops, its new 16-inch ROG Zephyrus Duo included, in the United States. The latest ROG Strix variants are also included in this new line-up, as are the ROG Flow Z13 and X13 convertibles. Some of the new gaming machines have been revealed as exclusive to 1 seller, while others will be more widely available.

Processor options include the i5-12600, i7-12700 and i9-12900 models that can be coupled with up to 64 GB of DDR4-3200 RAM and up to 24 TB of storage. The dGPU selection is limited to the RTX 3070 Ti and RTX 3060 models and there is no Thunderbolt 4 support.

The Inspiron 15 3505 shines with low noise levels, slots for two storage drives, and a moderate price. The installed Ryzen 5 APU does not reach its full potential. The battery life is poor.

With the V15 Gen 2 AMD, Lenovo creates quite an upgrade: AMD's hexa-core leaves everything else behind, particularly its predecessor with an Athlon Gold CPU. In addition, the office laptop is now more compact and very light at 1.64 kg (~3.6 lb). The stability is acceptable and the keyboard good. Unfortunately, the FHD display uses outdated technology.

GPD has started selling the P2 Max 2022, some three months after it unveiled the machine. The P2 Max 2022 comes with a 2.5K display, an Intel Jasper Lake processor and 16 GB of RAM, but at quite the cost. The P2 Max 2022 builds on the original P2 Max, which GPD launched in 2019.

Dell has unveiled the Latitude 5330, the entry-level option in its new Latitude 5000 series. The Latitude 5330 features 15 W Intel Alder Lake processors, soldered RAM and 16:9 display options, along with a choice between laptop and 2-in-1 form factors.

Dell has showcased the Latitude 5430, one of three Latitude 5000 machines that the company has revealed today. Only available as a 14-inch machine, the Latitude 5430 features modern Intel processors but with an older design that has 16:9 displays.
