Fittingly, one particularly enticing RTX 3070 Ti-powered configuration of this 15-inch machine has now been put on sale by a reputable US retailer.

More specifically, Best Buy is now selling the Acer Predator Helios 300 model with an Intel Core i7-12700H Alder Lake CPU, a 240Hz QHD display and the aforementioned Nvidia GeForce RTX 3070 Ti for US$1,399 including free shipping or store pickup. The gaming laptop is further equipped with 16GB of DDR5 RAM and a 1TB NVMe SSD. Most importantly, this deal for the Acer Predator Helios 300 offers potential savings of US$700 or 33 percent in relation to the official MSRP.

Unlike the 17-inch variant, we haven't tested this particular version of the 15-inch Acer Predator Helios 300 just yet, but the RTX 3070 Ti's high TGP of 150 watts suggests that the Taiwanese gaming laptop manufacturer hasn't artificially limited the GPU performance, which is usually a good sign. On paper, the machine also sports a very decent 1440p display that supposedly covers the entire DCI-P3 color space.
