Deal | Asus ZenBook 14 with Intel Core i7-1165G7 gets generous 26% discount on Amazon
Back in October 2020, Asus became one of the first major brands to launch a lineup of Tiger Lake-driven laptops. The ZenBook 14 UX425EA with Intel Core i7-1165G7, Intel Iris Xe Graphics G7 96EUs, 16 GB memory, and 1 TB SSD arrived in our labs for an in-depth review before launch and managed to get out of it with a score of 84%. Now, Amazon is pushing the US$969.99 list price of the UX425EA-EH71 model to a more convenient US$716.97 with the help of a 26% discount.
The review mentioned earlier concluded that "The strongest advantage of the ZenBook 14 UX425EA is its high performance-per-weight." and, for those who are not looking to enjoy Rocket League or DOTA 2 on the go, the experience "will be essentially identical to any older 10th gen Ice Lake laptop" they could get their hands on.
The hardware specs of the discounted model make it slightly weaker than the reviewed unit, as it only comes with 8 GB of memory and a 512 GB SSD. However, the processor remains the same, so the overall computing experience will be similar in most scenarios. The retail package also includes a protective sleeve, a USB-A to RJ45 Gigabit Ethernet adapter, as well as one USB-C to 3.5 mm audio jack dongle.
Those who consider this laptop too expensive for the specs provided should also keep in mind that the MIL-STD-810G certification guarantees that this portable can take much more punishment than expected from such a seemingly fragile device.
