Can Xiaomi finally get the display experience it is going for right in this generation?

iQOO is now thought to launch an updated version of its 11 Pro premium Android smartphone in mid-2023 - however, this one might have the 'overclocked' version of the top-end Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset heretofore exclusive to the Galaxy S23 Ultra. Their latest post also purports to show the device's all-new camera hump, and in the wild this time. It seems to contain a high-end lens type, hinting at a new premium spec for the otherwise mid-range handset.

The Pixel 7a has yet to be announced by Google - however, it already somehow has listings on the online US marketplace Swappa. The popular source of second-hand smartphones has a page for the new mid-range handset, which, furthermore, has multiple listings for allegedly in-hand units. Tecno has now confirmed a switch to a pointedly distinctive rear camera housing in its latest Camon-series smartphones. HTC's upcoming addition to its U series of smartphones is tipped to launch with what might be the highest-end collection of specs the once-iconic Android brand has gotten together as of late. Then again, they are still distinctly sub-flagship in nature, depicted as packing a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7-series chipset and a relatively pedestrian battery capacity into an arguably last-gen build.

The Galaxy S23 - or, perhaps even its long-awaited, allegedly upcoming Fan Edition varient - is now slated to launch in a new color, likely to be dubbed Lime, soon. Honor is now said to have a second-gen foldable flagship Android smartphone in the works. The successor to the Magic V is tipped to launch with a high-quality "custom" main display and, furthermore, to blow its competition away with a battery of an unusually large size for its form-factor.
