Redmi K70 Pro and possible Pro Plus pop up with Xiaomi 14 Pro charging speeds in new leak
The Redmi K70 Pro has now reportedly joined its vanilla sibling on the 3C charging safety certification database, as almost expected - except for one thing: it seems to have brought a friend.
One of these devices has the same model number attributed to the K70 Pro in an earlier Geekbench leak (23117RK66C), whereas the second has the similar yet heretofore-unspotted identifier of 23113RKC6C. Nevertheless, both devices have been revealed to have the same charging specs.
The 2 upcoming smartphones can juice up at 20V/6A (or 120W) using the Xiaomi MDY-14-ED power brick - much the same as the Redmi K60 Pro of yesteryear. Therefore, it seems that the K70 gets a charging upgrade whereas the Pro and its mystery sibling (a Pro Plus model?) does not.
That would be plausible, however, as the K70 Pro's Xiaomi counterpart the 14 Pro is also tipped to retain 120W charging for yet another year on its launch. Therefore, these 2 new devices are still likely to emerge as Redmi flagships with the specs to match in late 2023 or early 2024.
