Fujifilm in its X Summit event today has launched the GFX100-II, the successor to the company’s flagship medium-format mirrorless camera. It features a faster 102 MP sensor, AI enabled subject-detect AF, 8-stop IBIS, a 9.44m-dot EVF with tilt-adapter support and up to 8K/30P 10-bit 4:2:2 ProRes video capture. Notably, the launch price is US$7499, which is US$2500 less than the first-gen GFX100.

Ultimate Ears has launched the EPICBOOM, a rugged portable bluetooth speaker with immersive sound and 17 hours of battery. Pitched as a party and outdoor speaker, it’s designed to play loud but also clear, thanks to its auto EQ feature.

Nokia has unleashed the G42 5G as a new "So Fast, So Sleek" Android smartphone for the Indian market. Accordingly, the "3-day battery" device is pitched as offering the most novel, premium and "efficient" experience possible for its ~US$150 starting price - then again, its specs and software support might beg to differ.

Volkswagen describes its latest concept car as "an all-electric sports limousine" with nearly double the power of the current ID.7 Pro. Its Performance-oriented prototype counterpart also boasts a lot of carbon in its exterior and a lot of red in its trim and interior. The sedan's chassis has also been re-designed for extra agility and responsiveness on the road.

The Orange Pi Zero 2W measures just 65 x 30 mm, making it the same size as the Raspberry Pi model it borrows its name from. However, it brings a faster chip and more RAM to the table, along with the option to add an expansion board for more connectivity.

Kandao has just launched the QooCam 3, a 360° camera directly competing with the Insta360 X3 and GoPro Max but with a considerably larger 1/1.55” sensors than either, as well as a wider lens aperture of f1.6. It also claims to match most other features of the X3, at least on paper, but at a lower price of US$349.

The P50s also boast "premium materials" such as an aluminum alloy casing and OFC wire for their detachable cable. Huawei has now introduced the Mate 60 Pro Plus in China, the third and likely the most expensive model in the Mate 60 series. While the Mate 60 Pro and Mate 60 Pro Plus lookalike, Huawei has equipped the latter with a higher resolution display, more RAM and better cameras.

VW says it is testing a working prototype of the electric ID GTI hot hatch that closely resembles the ID GTI concept we saw earlier this week. It may still change before the start of production in 2027, but the test vehicle is more compact than the concept. VW design boss also confirmed that there is an electric VW R car coming in the future.

Polaroid has just launched the I-2, a premium analog instant camera with manual controls and high-quality components, geared for serious photography. The I-2 features a sharper, high-quality lens and LiDAR for continuous autofocus. It is now available for US$599.

Rivian's latest internal software release indicates that R1S owners will soon see improvements to driver assistance systems, handling, and phantom drain. Among feature tweaks, Rivian is also patching a number of bugs.

Huawei has presented the Mate X5 in China, a tweaked version of last year's Mate X3. Now equipped with Huawei's Kirin 9000S chipset, the Mate X5 shares all other core hardware with its predecessor, including its battery, cameras and displays.

The SEs forgo some high-end perks for an improved starting price, however.

The Fit Open Earbuds S50 contain a number of signature 1More audio tech and tweaks despite their new non-in-ear design. They also offer appreciable battery life, which can be replenished via their wireless charging-enabled case. The Bluetooth 5.3-powered S50s have started at nearly US$150, although their introductory discount coupon brings that price down somewhat.

Philips is now selling the 27E2F7901, a 27-inch monitor with a 4K and 60 Hz panel. The Philips 27E2F7901 also has plenty of ports high colour accuracy, and is VESA DisplayHDR 400 certified.

At just 114.8 x 76.0 x 27.1mm, the Zotac ZBOX PRO PI339 pico is one of the tiniest PCs that the manufacturer sells. However, it achieves this size decrease by making heavy sacrifices when it comes to I/O and expandability, as it comes with only one M.2 slot for storage and soldered RAM.

Qualcomm has announced that the next generation of e-mobility and/or micro-mobility vehicles can now be powered by its silicon, thanks to the new Snapdragon Digital Chassis for 2-Wheelers and New Vehicle Class SoCs. They are rated to bring their OEM's Digital Cockpit features and services to EVs that are not cars for the first time, V2X, navigation, ARAS and wireless connectivity included.

Kingston insists it has brought "ultimate portability" to the external SSD market with the new XS1000. It has a footprint estimated at half that of a pack of cards, yet still allows the user to tote a capacity of up to 2TB in a pocket. The XS1000 is also touted as a highly trustworthy form of storage despite its small size, and to transfer files in a flash thanks to its USB interface.

The OneMix 5 is now available to order online, albeit as the One-Netbook 5. Currently orderable with just the Intel Core i7-1250U, the One-Netbook 5 has a 10.1-inch display, a 42 Wh battery, 32 GB of LPDDR5 RAM and up to a 2 TB SSD, among other features.

The Galaxy Z Fold5 Thom Browne Edition has now arrived, debuting first in Samsung's home market of South Korea. Available from September 12, the Galaxy Z Fold5 Thom Browne Edition will ship with various accessories, including a customised Galaxy Watch6.

MINISFORUM has launched the EYERTEC AD650i in China, a Mini-ITX motherboard that utilises an Core i7-12650H processor. Available in China now for CNY 2,599 (~US$355), it remains to be seen whether MINISFORUM plans to release the EYERTEC AD650i globally.

Sonos has just introduced the Move 2, its substantially upgraded portable WiFi speaker. Among other changes, it now has dual-tweeters for stereo sound, 24 hours of battery life and a new color option, while retaining its IP56 weather- and shock-resistance. The Move 2 can be pre-ordered for US$499 and will be available starting September 20.

GoPro has just launched the Hero 12 Black for pre-order at US$399.99, with shipping starting on September 13. New features include HDR in videos and photos, improved video stabilization, audio recording from bluetooth earbuds and mics, and 2x longer continuous recording. Launched alongside it is the Max Lens Mod 2.0 for the Hero 12, with an ultra-wide 177° FOV.

IceWhale Technology has launched the ZimaBlade, a ZimaBoard successor offered with Intel Celeron N3350 or Celeron J3455 processors. Currently available to back on Crowdsupply from US$64, IceWhale Technology hopes to begin shipping to backers at the end of January 2024.

Motorola has now launched the Moto G54 in India. The mid-range smartphone comes with a MediaTek Dimensity 7020 chipset, a 120 Hz display and up to 12 GB of RAM, among other features.

Realme's latest Buds pack the same internals as their higher-end Air 5 siblings - and have a little more maximum battery life. They also boast a "360-degree Spatial Audio Effect" and their own new colorways. However, the T300s compromise on their active noise cancellation (ANC) by comparison for a more budget-friendly starting price.

Realme has augmented its affordable Narzo 60 series of smartphones with a new X variant of a vastly different look from its siblings. Its new flat-edged chassis still packs a number of reasonably attractive specs such as a 120Hz FHD+ display, a 5,000mAh battery and an updated 5G-capable MediaTek Dimensity processor for a potentially attractive price.

Available in white or black as the original Sharkoon SKILLER SGK50 S4, the SKILLER SGK50 S4 Barebone is designed for ANSI or ISO keyboard layouts and comes without switches or keycaps, offering a total freedom of choice to the user. Those interested can buy it already and the MSRP label reads 49,90 Euros (roughly US$54).

AYANEO is finally taking orders for the Pocket Air, an Android 12-based gaming handheld based around a 5.5-inch AMOLED display and a MediaTek Dimensity 1200 chipset. Available with up to 12 GB of RAM and 512 GB of storage, the AYANEO Pocket Air currently starts at US$279 with a 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage configuration.

Anker has launched its new Nano Power Bank (22.5W, Built-in USB-C Connector) in the US and the UK. The gadget has two USB-C ports with a maximum power output of 22.5W and a 5,000 mAh battery. The device has an integrated USB-C connector, which folds away to make the power bank more compact.

The winner of Polestar's recent design competition is the Synergy electric supercar as a full-size, single-seater electric supercar scale model with a minimalist “floating interior” design. Polestar will collaborate with Mattel to produce the Synergy as a Hot Wheels model.

Sony has launched the ILX-LR1, a stripped-down ultra-lightweight full-frame camera specifically for industrial drone surveying and photogrammetry. With no viewfinder, screen or battery, and only minimal controls on the back, it is designed to be controlled via Sony’s Camera Remote SDK. The ILX-LR1 costs US$2,950 and is only available through professional B2B distributors.

AOHi has announced a new power bank rated to re-charge connected devices at up to 140W via USB type-C. The Starship is also rated to charge itself at the same blazing-fast rate, and at the same time if necessary. It is touted to pack a capacity of 40,000mAh in a "stunning cyberpunk-inspired" chassis, and has enjoyed a very successful launch on Kickstarter thus far.

The new devices introduced by Doogee are the MediaTek Dimensity 1080-powered V31GT rugged phone with a thermal imaging camera, the Unisoc T606-driven T10 Plus and T10 Pro mainstream tablets, as well as the kid-targeted U10 tablet which comes in multiple colors and takes advantage of the Rockchip RK3562 processor.

Motorola has now started selling the Moto G54 5G in China, a mid-range smartphone powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7020 and a 120 Hz display. For some reason, Motorola has developed dedicated Chinese and Indian variants, with worse specifications afforded to the Indian variant.

JLab has just launched the smallest available true wireless earbuds on the market, the JBuds Mini, for an astounding US$40. There’s no compromise on account of the size – ANC, multipoint connectivity, IP55 sweat and dust resistance and a transparency mode and an adequate 5.5 hours of battery life make these earbuds an excellent value proposition.

TCL has announced that it is bringing its line of energy storage and management solutions to the home to the global market. Its Energy Storage System is based on "high-security, long-life" LiFePO4 battery technology in order to better manage a home energy supply in a potentially bill-cutting, emergency-solving manner. There is also a One-Stop Smart Energy Solution rated to connect TCL solar panels to the OEM's new Heat Pump for a "self-sufficient" hot water supply.

AYANEO has finally launched the KUN, a Steam Deck alternative on account of its similar input methods and gamepad buttons. The AYANEO KUN has a larger 8.4-inch display though, as well as a 75 Wh battery, an AMD Ryzen 7 7840U APU and up to 64 GB of RAM.

GPD is now selling the Win Mini, a 7-inch gaming handheld that measures 168 x 109 x 26 mm and weighs 520 g. While the GPD Win Mini is smaller than most competing gaming handhelds, it still packs up to the AMD Ryzen 7 7840U, 64 GB of RAM and a 2 TB SSD, as well as a 44.24 Wh battery.

The Milk-V Mars CM measures 55 x 40 mm, making it the same size as the Raspberry Pi CM4. It features a RISC-V-based StarFive JH7110 with four cores that can boost up to 1.5 GHz, up to 8 GB of RAM, and a maximum of 32 GB of eMMC storage.

The Audi Q6 e-tron compact electric crossover reimagines the Audi interior with a large driver-facing digital instrument cluster alongside a central infotainment display and a passenger touchscreen tied into the navigation and infotainment functions.

The BP2000 is Oukitel's first portable power station that can be expanded with its own add-on batteries, for a total capacity estimated at up to 16,384Wh. The portable power station core is rated to pack 2,084Wh on its own, with an output of up to 2,200W thanks to its inbuilt AC outlets. The BP2000 is also compatible with up-to-1000W solar panels for an off-the-grid power supply solution.

Anbernic has released the RG405V, a 4-inch gaming handheld powered by a Unisoc Tiger T618 chipset, 4 GB of RAM and a 5,500 mAh battery. The Anbernic RG405V comes in three finishes, including an unusual Wood Grain option.

Creality has launched the CR-10 SE, its new FDM 3D printer targeted at advanced users. The new printer addresses the issue of getting the ideal first layer by auto-leveling using multiple sensors upon startup. It also features a model cooling fan to prevent distorted overhangs and can print at up to 600 mm/s.
