Lenovo has fully unveiled the ThinkPad T14s Gen 6, and it is one of the very first business laptops to feature Qualcomm’s Apple M3 rival, the Snapdragon X Elite. Paired with an integrated Adreno GPU and on-device AI engine, the laptop promises to set a new benchmark in terms of performance and efficiency in its class.

We finally have official details for one of the first laptops with Qualcomm Snapdragon X Elite, the Lenovo ThinkPad T14s Gen 6. The laptop, paired with the integrated Adreno GPU and on-device AI engine, aims to deliver superior user experience and set a new benchmark for business Windows systems in performance and efficiency.

Speaking of the on-device AI engine, the Snapdragon X Elite processor brings an NPU that can deliver 45 TOPS of AI performance. With that, the ThinkPad T14s Gen 6 wants to enhance productivity and facilitate seamless creativity. The laptop comes equipped with creative tools too.

For example, the Qualcomm processor delivers seamless integration over all the Microsoft 365 applications, aiming to enhance work efficiency. With the other tools, the laptop promises to streamline everyday productivity tasks with the power of machine learning and generative AI.

Besides, the Snapdragon X Elite in the new Lenovo ThinkPad T14s Gen 6 is paired with up to 64 GB LPDDR5X RAM at 8533 MT/s and 1 TB of PCIe 4.0 storage. The laptop will be offered with three display options, with the top-end variant coming with a 14-inch OLED screen featuring a 2.8K resolution, Dolby Vision, HDR True Black 500, and 100% DCI-P3 coverage.

As for the chassis, the ThinkPad T14s Gen 6 has a thin, light housing that measures 12.34 x 8.64 x 0.67 inches and weighs under 3 lbs (around 1.36 KG). Lenovo’s ThinkPad line is also known for featuring MIL-STD-810H certification, which gives peace of mind regarding durability.

There are a good number of ports too. The ThinkPad T14s Gen 6 equips two 5 Gbps USB Type-A, two 40 Gbps USB4, one HDMI 2.1, and one audio jack. It has WiFi 7 and Bluetooth 5.3 for wireless connectivity. As for security, the laptop sports dTPM, a fingerprint reader that’s integrated into the power button, and Secured-Core PC.

When it comes to pricing and availability, the Lenovo ThinkPad T14s Gen 6 with Snapdragon X Elite is expected to be available this June with a starting price tag of $1,699. To compare, the T14s Gen 5 with Intel Core Ultra processors currently starts at $1,637.4.
