Lenovo has officially presented the Yoga Slim 7x 14 Gen 9 alongside a new ThinkPad as their new Qualcomm-powered laptops. Unfortunately, Lenovo hasn't specified which Snapdragon X Elite sub-variant the laptop uses. It uses the default Adreno iGPU for graphics processing. As shown by an earlier leak, it will launch with a 3.5 mm audio jack. Other I/O isn't much to write home about, either, as the Yoga Slim 7x 14 Gen 9 has three 40 Gbps USB Type-C ports.
You can configure the Yoga Slim 7x 14 Gen 9 with up to 32 GB of LPDDR5x 8,448 MT/s memory and a 1 TB NVMe SSD. Lenovo claims its 70 Wh cell can provide "multi-day" battery life under ideal conditions. Wireless connectivity options include Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.3. Other specs include a 1080p IR-enabled camera with a physical privacy shutter. It weighs 1.28 kgs (2.82 lbs) and is just 15 mm thin.
The Lenovo Yoga Slim 7x 14 Gen 9 comes with a 14-inch 3K (2,944 x 1,840) touch-enabled OLED panel with a refresh rate of 90 Hz, 16:10 aspect ratio, 1,000 nits peak brightness, and 100% sRGB colour gamut coverage. It is one of the many recent laptops to launch with a dedicated Windows Copilot button, which is accompanied with a bunch of AI-driven features. You can buy it in June 2024 starting at $1,199.
