After refreshing the Latitude series in February 2024 with the latest Intel Core Ultra processors, Dell has now equipped the Latitude 7455 with the Snapdragon X SoCs.
Starting with the chassis, Dell claims that the new Latitude 7455 is the company’s thinnest Latitude machine to date as it measures 223.7 mm x 314 mm x 16.9 mm. The laptop utilizes an aluminum chassis and comes in the Titan Gray color with a relatively low weight of 1.44 kg (3.17 lbs).
On the inside, the Dell Latitude 7455 will be available with the Snapdragon X Elite (X1E-80-100) and the Snapdragon X Plus (X1P-64-100) SoCs. The company is also pairing the ARM SoCs with up to 32 GB of LPDDR5X-8448 RAM and up to 1 TB of PCIe Gen 4 storage. While the RAM is soldered to the board, the NVMe drive is of the M.2 2230 form factor, so it should be replaceable.
Rounding off the inside, the laptop boasts a 54 Wh battery, Qualcomm FastConnect Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, and optional 5G with a built-in eSim that supports Verizon, AT&T, and T-Mobile networks.
On the front, the Dell Latitude 7455 features a 14-inch IPS panel with a screen-to-body ratio of 85.63%, QHD+ resolution, a 16:10 aspect ratio, and touch input. The matte display covers 100% sRGB while shooting 400 nits of brightness. There is also an FHD webcam on top with support for Windows Hello facial recognition.
The laptop also rocks a healthy port selection with:
- Two USB 4.0 ports with Power Delivery and DisplayPort 2.1.
- One USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A port with Power Share.
- A single 3.5 mm combo jack.
- A microSD card reader.
Additionally, users also have the option to choose an external Sim card slot.
The Dell Latitude 7455 will be available later this year. Unfortunately, Dell has not shared any definitive availability date and pricing information for the laptop.
