Annoying fan & reduced performance. Acer have updated their Swift X 14 - this time giving the multimedia laptop a fresh new case, a new OLED panel as well as new components from Intel and Nvidia. Unfortunately, the total package of this $1,400 device seems to only impress on paper and next to its relatively short battery life in everyday use, the laptop's cooling system also proves to cause some issues.

Surprisingly compelling. Lenovo's latest Legion laptop lavishly looks the part without needing to cut corners in regards to chassis quality, auxiliary features, or display options. Performance is excellent even though it lacks some enthusiast-class processors.

175 W RTX graphics and barely 19 mm thick. Alienware laptops have traditionally been larger and heavier than alternatives from MSI, Asus, or Razer, but Dell wants to prove that an Alienware laptop can still be thin and just as powerful with the latest Alienware x16 R1.
