Leaker 'WalkingCat' has revealed the name of Lenovo's mystery Yoga laptop. To recap, WalkingCat published four photos of a device that resembled this year's Yoga Slim 7x (curr. $997.97 on Amazon), albeit with an under-display webcam. Incidentally, these photos arrived shortly after Evan Blass shared equivalent images of the ThinkBook Plus Gen 6 and Yoga Book 9i.
According to WalkingCat, Lenovo intends to introduce its first laptop with an under-display webcam as 'Yoga Slim 9 14'. For reference, Lenovo has released Yoga Slim 9 laptops previously. Thus, we suspect the Yoga Slim 9 14 will be a mass-produced device, not a concept like the ThinkBook Auto Twist that Lenovo showcased during IFA 2024 in September.
Accordingly, the promotional video that WalkingCat since leaked implies that the Yoga Slim 9 14 will utilise Intel's Lunar Lake architecture, just like the Yoga Slim 7i Aura Edition did earlier this year. Moreover, the leaked video focuses on the laptop's battery life and AI capabilities, which Intel paid particular attention to when it initially revealed Lunar Lake processors. Presumably, the Yoga Slim 9 14 will debut during CES 2025 next month in Las Vegas, although Lenovo has not confirmed as much just yet.
