Emeet touts its new webcams as smaller and lighter than the average smartphone, yet packing all the tech needed for a standalone streaming/content-creation solution.
They include dual lenses in a "human" (or robot) -like configuration, rated for 4K/30 frames per second (fps) or 1080p at 60fps recording in both the vanilla Piko and Piko+, although the latter is backed to achieve the better image quality and low-light performance with 1/2.55-inch Sony sensors, compared to 1/2.8 inches in the Piko.
Either variant has the same 3-mic on-board Audio Purity system with Original, Live Streaming and Noise Reduction Modes. Both webcams also come with a USB-C to C cable in the box, augmented with a USB type-A adapter in the case of the Piko+.
The new webcams might also appeal to PC users with their thoughtful, panda-themed magnetic Privacy Covers, although they seem to need a tripod with a standard screw with no other way to attach to a laptop or monitor.
The new accessories are available on Amazon from now, at $69.99 for the Piko or $89.99 for the Piko+. Both can be ordered in black or white, with a third green option to follow.
