Insta360 has launched the Link 2 Pro and Link 2c Pro webcams, with larger 1/1.3-inch camera sensors to capture more light than prior models. They are targeted towards gamers, social media stars, and remote workers who can benefit from the AI features to help produce better images during live broadcasts and video calls across streaming platforms, including Teams, Twitch, and Zoom.
Both webcams can output videos at up to 4K 30 fps in horizontal or portrait mode. The dual-native ISO sensor has an ISO range of 100 to 3200, with 2.4 μm pixels. It is coupled with a 24 mm f/1.9 lens and two AI noise cancelling microphones. The Link 2c Pro attaches to monitors using a magnetic mount, while the Link 2 Pro adds a 2-axis gimbal mount that can automatically track and follow subjects as they move about the room, while using passive phase detection autofocus.
Both come with AI-powered features, including meeting transcriptions and summaries, Elgato Stream Deck integration, and hands-free gesture control. Backgrounds can be replaced with custom images via green screen keying or blurred for privacy. Faces can be optionally beautified, and all scene settings can be saved to presets.
The Insta360 Link 2 Pro has an MSRP of $249.99, while the Link 2c Pro has an MSRP of $199.99. Both are available at the Insta360 store on Amazon.
