Redditor MeguminShiro has shared a hint for the possible free game that will be available on Christmas Eve. While the hint is not as straightforward as the past leaks, it’s highly likely that the upcoming free-to-own title will be Dredge.

Epic Games Store is currently giving a top-rated adventure title, and on December 24, 16:00 UTC, there will be a new free game. While Redditor MeguminShiro has been sharing easy-to-guess hints for the past free games, the credible leaker decided not to make things easy this time.

However, the leaker did share a hint, and according to that, the upcoming free game that will be available on Christmas Eve could be Dredge or The Call of the Wild: The Angler. Both these two titles match the hint shared by MeguminShiro, but some Redditors are guessing that it could be Dave the Diver as well.

Of course, given that MeguminShiro's hint has fishing emojis, the possibility of the free game being either Dredge or The Call of the Wild: The Angler is higher. Worth noting that Billbill_kun on X, another prominent leaker, has also chimed in and hinted that it could be Dredge.

Regardless of which of these three titles becomes a free-to-own game on Epic Games Store on December 24, all of them have good ratings. To be specific, Dave the Diver has an "Overwhelmingly Positive" rating on Steam with over 108 thousand player reviews. The Call of the Wild: The Angler has a "Mostly Positive" rating according to recent reviews, and Dredge, on the other hand, is considered to be one of the best indie games. It currently has an "Overwhelmingly Positive" rating.

As for now, you have the chance to get Dark and Darker - Legendary Status for free on Epic Game Store, which is a DLC to the base game and costs $30.
