New Epic Games Store free game giveaway worth $25 lands, but only during Christmas Eve and Christmas Day
The holiday season is well and truly underway. While Christmas day is still a few hours away for many time zones, the Epic Games Store has decided to bestow a gift to account holders ahead of December 25 itself. For context, today's free game is one of many that the storefront will be giving away over the festive period, having already discounted Dark and Darker yesterday and Wizard of Legend the day before that.
Now, Epic Games is offering Dredge at a 100% discount from its $24.99 MSRP. Incidentally, Steam has discounted the game by 50% to $12.49 for both its macOS and Windows releases. Meanwhile, Dredge can also be picked up in physical form across current generation consoles like the Xbox Series S|X and PlayStation 5 (curr. $29.99 on Amazon).
Please note that Dredge will return to its MSRP after 24 hours, as with all of Epic Games' recent free game giveaways. In other words, the game will be free to claim from today at 16:00 UTC until 15:59 UTC on December 25. As it stands, Dredge has received overwhelmingly positive reviews on Steam since its March 2023 release, as well as 80/100 and 82/100 averages on Metacritic and Opencritic, respectively.
