We tried out the Asus Zenbook 14 Flip OLED and we were not only thrilled by the performance, but also by the excellent OLED panel, which is equipped with 90 Hz and 3K resolution. But what other advantages and disadvantages does the convertible conceal?

Acer announced a refreshed ConceptD 5 and ConceptD 5 Pro with upgrades to Intel Alder Lake-H Core i7 and a choice of RTX 3070 Ti or RTX A5500 Laptop GPUs. The new ConceptD 5 series is aimed at creators on the move with a larger touchpad, improved thermals, and a massive 99.98 Wh battery.

After a 2-year hiatus, MSI is going to reintroduce the Titan lineup with a new GT77 model that features Intel Alder Lake-HX processors coupled with Nvidia's RTX 3080 Ti dGPUs. MSI claims that this is the first model to feature 250 W total CPU+GPU power where dynamic boosting for the CPU can go up to 160 W.

Acer has brought its SpatialLabs glasses-free 3D stereoscopic display to the Predator Helios 300 SpatialLabs Edition. The stereoscopic 3D effect is achieved using a lenticular lens and the UHD display can be toggled between 2D and 3D modes. Acer said that more than 50 popular games are already supported for 3D viewing with more being continuously added.

Acer has unveiled the Aspire Vero 14 and Aspire Vero 15, a pair of laptops that rely on recycled plastic for much of their construction. Acer also equips the Vero 14 and Vero 15 with Intel Alder Lake processors, among other components. The Aspire Vero 14 and Vero 15 will be available this summer from US$749.99.

The Acer Predator Triton 300 SE is now configurable with Intel's newest Alder Lake processors, a 2.8K 16:10 OLED screen, and an Nvidia GeForce RTX 3060. It will hit shelves in June 2022 starting at €1,499 (US$1,575).

Acer has announced the Spin 3 (SP314-55/N), which will be available from June in Europe, but not until August in the US. The Spin 3 (SP314-55/N) comes with a 14-inch touchscreen, Intel Alder Lake processors and supports Acer's Active Stylus.

Acer has introduced the SP514-51N, an updated Spin 5 powered by Intel Alder Lake processors. The Spin 5 will be available with a 2.5K display, Thunderbolt 4 ports and will start at US$1,349.99 when it launches in July.

Acer has announced the Swift 3 OLED (SF314-71), a 14-inch laptop with a 2.8K OLED panel that also has a 90 Hz refresh rate. The new Swift 3 comes with up to a Core i7-12650H too, a 45 W processor from Intel's Alder Lake-H series. The Acer Swift 3 OLED (SF314-71) will be available in multiple markets, including the US, where it starts at US$899.99.

HP has announced a refreshed Omen 16. The 2022 Omen 16 sports the same chassis design as last year's version but now comes with Intel Alder Lake-H and Ryzen 6000H CPU options. Also available are GPU options up to a 150 W RTX 3070 Ti and, for the first time, a Radeon RX 6650M.

HP is now offering an upgraded Victus 15 in both Intel Alder Lake-H and AMD Ryzen 5000H flavors. The Intel variant features an Nvidia RTX 3050 Ti Laptop GPU while the AMD version offers an RX 6500M. Both models offer full-sized keyboards, Omen Gaming Hub, and improved thermals.

The Intel Core i9-12900HX has seemingly been promoted in UserBenchmark’s average bench chart thanks to the dismissal of the result of an underperforming sample. Previously, two i9-12900HX sample runs left the chip languishing behind several AMD rivals, but the removal of the poor result has left the Alder Lake mobile part in a loftier position.

ASUS has unveiled the ROG Strix SCAR 17 Special Edition, a 17.3-inch gaming laptop with Intel's most powerful Alder Lake-S series processor. Not only does ASUS include the Intel Core i9-12950HX in the ROG Strix SCAR 17 Special Edition, it also offers a choice between NVIDIA's RTX 3070 Ti and RTX 3080 Ti, along with a 2.5K panel that has a 240 Hz refresh rate.

ASUS has introduced the ROG Flow X16, a convertible gaming laptop with a 16-inch display. Not only has ASUS equipped the ROG Flow X16 with powerful CPU and GPU combinations, it has also included 512 mini-LED local dimming zones that allow the 165 Hz display to reach 1,100 nits.

Honor has refreshed the MagicBook 14 for 2022. Now called the MagicBook 14 2022, the laptop comes with a choice of Intel Alder Lake-P processors and NVIDIA GeForce GPUs. Honor also offers the MagicBook 14 2022 in two colours, albeit only the choice between silver and grey.

Dell has announced a new onslaught on the gaming laptop space in India. It will do so by distributing its latest G-series features across the G15 5520 and 5521 SE variants. They will both feature 12th-gen Intel processors and RTX 3000-series graphics, although some new G15 features such as a 3-side borderless QHD 240Hz display are exclusive to the SE in this market.

A Chinese reviewer recently got their hands on the Lenovo Y9000P, a laptop equipped with Intel's Core i7-12800HX chip. Some of Intel’s Alder Lake-HX mobile processors have appeared on UserBenchmark, delivering powerful performances that rival the previous generation’s fastest desktop parts. Intel, today, unveiled the Alder Lake-HX platform targeted at enthusiast gamers and mobile workstations. The Alder Lake-HX platform is led by the 16C/24T Core i9-12950HX with a boost TDP up to 157 W. Alder Lake-HX is also the first 16-core mobile platform and also the first to offer PCie Gen 5 on laptops. Intel is also supplanting mobile Xeons with vPro-enabled Alder Lake-HX this generation.

This year's Legion Slim 7 is the first all-AMD system of the series. It features the newly released Ryzen 6000H/X processors coupled with the Radeon RX 6000S dGPUs and up to 24 GB of DDR5-4800 RAM. There is also a USB4 port, a 16-inch Mini-LED IPS screen option and another with 240 Hz refresh rate.

The Intel-based 2022 Legion Slim 7i models feature the latest Alder Lake-H processors combined with Nvidia's RTX 3000 dGPUs, and also offer premium options like a mini-LED 16-inch screen with HDR certification.

The first OLED laptop screen with record high 240Hz screen refresh rate will be made by Samsung and is being showcased at the Display Week 2022 expo in San Jose. Razer already announced that it will be making a laptop with it in the Blade 15 line that will be launched in Q4 and will cost the whopping $3,500.

ASUS has announced the Vivobook Pro 15 OLED (K6500) with up to an Intel Core i7-12700H and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050 Ti. The 15.6-inch laptop also has LPDDR5 RAM, up to a 70 Wh battery and an OLED display that outputs at 2.8K and 120 Hz.
