N-one's NBook Fly essentially borrows the chassis from the Asus Zenbook Duo models, but it is more budget-friendly as it includes some outdated components such as an Intel i7-10750H processor and LPDDR4 RAM.

Asus introduced the unique dual-screen laptop design with its Zenbook Duo lineup back in 2019, and it looks like the demand for this innovative aspect is there, as updated models have been released each year ever since, but the pricing is still a bit on the premium side even if the configurations do not include a dGPU. For those looking to get a budget dual-screen setup, there are Chinese laptop makers like N-one that offer the same chassis with more affordable components, which bring the price down to a more manageable point. The N-one NBook Fly, for instance, is priced at only US$789.99, yet it does make some compromises on the hardware side.

Starting with the display, the 16-inch screen is only limited to 1920 x 1200, but it is reasonably bright at 300 nits and it covers the entire sRGB color gamut. Just like the Asus models, the NBook Fly features a secondary 1920 x 550 touchscreen that opens up tilted at a 12-degree angle.

At the heart of this model is a three-year old i7-10750H processor with 6 cores and 12 threads boosting at a maximum of 5 GHz. Since the system does not come with a dGPU, the dual-screen setup is targeted more towards productivity and content creation. N-one does offer a separate docking station for a desktop-grade GPU. It also features 16 GB of LPDDR4-2667 RAM and 1 TB of PCIe 3.0 NVMe SSD.

The port selection includes 1x USB-C 3.1 Gen 1, 3x USB-A 3.0, an HDMI 2.0b video output, audio jack and 1 GbE jack. Wireless connectivity is offered through an older Wi-Fi 5 + BT 4.2 card. Only a 1 MP webcam is provided, but at least it comes with dual-array mics and AI-powered noise cancellation. The 51 Wh battery is supposed to last for 6 hours and a Windows 11 Pro license is included in the price. System profile measures 0.8 cm at its thinnest and 2.9 cm at its thickest point, while the weight comes in at 2.5 kg.

This model can be ordered through the geekbuying.com store, but it will only ship to China, Hong Kong or Europe.
