Finally packing a punch and OLED. For a long time, LG's laptops have impressed with their lightweight design and excellent display but, when it comes to computing power, LG hasn't exactly blown us away. The Gram Pro 2-in-1 shows that LG can also make powerful laptops. Only the weight remains area in which the manufacturer continues to be economical.

Enviable contortionist. The HP Envy x360 2-in-1 nails the basics with its sleek design, premium build, and a vibrant 120 Hz OLED display. However, HP's performance choices with the Intel Core Ultra 5 125U Meteor Lake CPU raises a few questions. We look into this and other aspects of this impressive convertible.

Standstill on the executive floor? Lenovo has dropped the name Yoga from its flagship convertible for business customers, now calling it the ThinkPad X1 2in1. AI marketing aside, its new Meteor Lake processor offers little performance and its high-resolution OLED touchscreen isn't entirely good. Lenovo also offers an optional haptic touchpad without TrackPoint buttons.

OLED with DC dimming. The latest 16-inch Envy gets the x360 treatment to be an effective midrange solution in between the Pavilion x360 15 and Spectre x360 16. It comes in both Intel and AMD variants to satisfy users on both sides of the pond.

Back to basics. The ThinkBook 14 2-in-1 G4 is a no-frills convertible spruced up with Intel's latest 14th gen Meteor Lake CPUs. It's comfortable, travel-friendly and easy to use, but graphics performance is a little slow relative to the $1200 asking price.

Quieter, longer-lasting, and more efficient. When compared to the older Core i7-1255U, the new Core Ultra 5 125U doesn't offer all that much in terms of overall performance. Power efficiency, however, gets a big boost for improved fan noise and battery life.

Much quieter than before. The dual-screen Yoga Book 9i is back this year with new Meteor Lake-U CPUs and integrated Arc graphics. The differences and performance advantages between the 2023 and 2024 models, however, aren't what we were expecting.

Grainy OLED? The Yoga 9 2-in-1 G9 improves upon several aspects of the Yoga 9 2-in-1 G8, but some core drawbacks remain including the unfortunate moire effect that makes the OLED display slightly grainier than most other OLED laptops.

Great convertible with varied connectivity options. Asus has updated its Expertbook B5 Flip, equipping it with a new 13th-gen Intel processor. While its flexibility and build are just as good as its predecessor, the convertible has been given a big performance boost—plus, it now boasts better connectivity options.

Now with Meteor Lake. Samsung has equipped its Galaxy Book4 models with Intel's new Meteor Lake processors and the 16-inch, 2-in-1 Galaxy Book4 Pro 360 offers the Intel Core Ultra 5 paired with a high-resolution 120 Hz AMOLED display.

Convertible with integrated pen for students. The new Asus BR1402FG is designed for robustness with scratch-resistant Corning Gorilla Glass and US military standard MIL-STD 810H certification. Coupled with the 2-in-1 design and good repairability, this notebook is the ideal companion for everyday school life.

In need of more finetuning. The GeForce RTX 4050 GPU runs laps around the integrated Arc 8 configuration. However, CPU throttling bugs are holding back the dGPU configuration from being even better.

All-rounder with two OLED screens. Asus takes multitasking to a new level with the new Zenbook Duo OLED. The versatile laptop impresses with two great 120 Hz OLED screens and a sophisticated operating concept. It also comes with the new Intel Core Ultra 9 185H and 32 GB RAM.

Tablet or laptop? 2-in-1! HP's Spectre x360 16 is a premium 2-in-1 convertible with a new, high-res 16:10 OLED touchscreen and pen input. While last year's predecessor still used an Intel Gen 12 CPU, this year's model has skipped a generation and now uses a Core Ultra with an NPU for AI applications. Furthermore, the device has been given even more updates and in this review, we will be looking at whether they have improved the 16-inch Spectre.
