Mighty Midget. A fast Core i5, gaming-suitable graphic card, DVD drive and a bright, high definition and matt display in a 1.5 kg hybrid-carbon case. That sounds good? Well, it is. But you'll have to accept a loud fan under load and a downclocked GeForce GT330M.

Gaming for the price conscious. At the end of 2009 Packard Bell secured itself a place among the most interesting notebooks, with the TJ65 at a price of 580 Euros. Now Packard Bell has included a current ATI HD5650, along with an Intel Core i5, increasing the price by a mere 100 Euros. Has the Acer daughter invested in good hardware, and saved in other areas instead?

Optim{us/al?} The UL50VF is a 15.6" version of the slim Asus CULV laptops, and is equipped with NVidias "Optimus" which is able to switch graphics cards in the notebooks as needed. The notebook has a long list of great features: long battery life, low system noice, and is very light for a 15 inch laptop. Red and fast In the area of all-round devices from Fujitsu, the LifeBook P3110 is currently the smallest model. The subnotebook has an 11.6 –inch screen with LED backlight. The subnotebook differs from Netbooks by the Intel Pentium Dual-core CPU and GMA 4500M HD graphic card. Nevertheless, simple office applications stay the main field of the P3110.

Workstation in 15 inches. When searching for an efficient laptop for the business field, you'll sooner or later likely end up by Lenovo's Thinkpad W models. They have also been upgraded to state-of-the-art with the Thinkpad W510.
