The perfect allrounder? The MSI Stealth 16 Studio A13VG combines a 13th-generation Intel CPU as well as an Nvidia RTX 4070 laptop GPU. From a visual point of view, the Stealth 16 Studio is very dignified, meaning the device is not only focused on gamers. Both a demanding day in the office in an understated design and evening gaming sessions playing the latest titles are no problem for this laptop. Annoying fan & reduced performance. Acer have updated their Swift X 14 - this time giving the multimedia laptop a fresh new case, a new OLED panel as well as new components from Intel and Nvidia. Unfortunately, the total package of this $1,400 device seems to only impress on paper and next to its relatively short battery life in everyday use, the laptop's cooling system also proves to cause some issues.

1080p gaming in color! After the top-of-the-range Ada Lovelace architecture models made their debut last year, now the smaller models based on up-to-date GPU architecture are slowly being released. The Nvidia GeForce RTX 4060 Ti is one of the first of such mid-range graphics cards and aims to speak to the mainstream market. In this review featuring plenty of benchmarks, you can read about whether this goal was achieved or not.

Surprisingly compelling. Lenovo's latest Legion laptop lavishly looks the part without needing to cut corners in regards to chassis quality, auxiliary features, or display options. Performance is excellent even though it lacks some enthusiast-class processors.

Quiet times. The gaming laptop's i7-13700H and the RTX 4060 are perfectly suited to modern games. And, on top of that, the Nitro 17 hardly suffers from any weaknesses. So far, so predictable. The clever power management implementation makes all the difference and ensures Acer's laptop is quiet despite its power.

A little bigger, but a lot faster. The Omen 16 is back this year with an improved cooling solution that's larger and more efficient than before. It also happens to have one of the lowest starting prices we've seen for a GeForce RTX 4060 laptop at US$1100.

Core i9-13980HX and RTX 4070 Laptop. Asus offers a powerful machine for creative users in the ProArt Studiobook 16 OLED. Intel's Core i9-13980HX and the GeForce RTX 4070 laptop take care of performance-related matters, but the new 120 Hz OLED panel is not completely convincing.

Extremely efficient! The release of the Nvidia GeForce RTX 4060 Ti marks Nvidia's next model based on top-of-the-range Ada Lovelace architecture. In this review, you can read about how well the model performed with the MSI GeForce RTX 4060 Ti Gaming X Trio, with the help of a range of benchmarks.

Performant earthling. The Dell G15 5530 now offers Intel Raptor Lake-HX options and positions itself as a capable upper mid-range gaming laptop. While the Core i7-13650HX and RTX 4060 combo augurs well for 1080p Ultra gaming, the G15 5530 has to contend with several compromises in order to keep the price competitive and distinguish itself from its premium Alienware brethren.

175 W RTX graphics and barely 19 mm thick. Alienware laptops have traditionally been larger and heavier than alternatives from MSI, Asus, or Razer, but Dell wants to prove that an Alienware laptop can still be thin and just as powerful with the latest Alienware x16 R1. It certainly doesn't disappoint at least when it comes to graphics.

Playing the big guy. The entry-level gaming laptop is well-equipped with its Intel Core i5-12500H and RTX 4050 and can run current games at Full HD really well. So far, so unsurprising. But: In quiet mode, the performance hardly drops and the noise levels remain remarkably low.

Expensive high-end fun. The top model of the Legion Pro 7 is designed for maximum performance. Core i9-13900HX and GeForce RTX 4090 promise smooth frame rates on the internal WQXGA display even in demanding games. We put the 16-inch device through our test course.

Now with removable RAM! Razer has refreshed its Blade 14 this year with significant internal and external upgrades including a move to 16:10 and the latest processors from both AMD and Nvidia. Despite all the upgrades, however, the Asus Zephyrus G14 still has one key advantage not yet available on the Razer.

Teamwork. AMD Ryzen 7 7735HS and Nvidia GeForce RTX 4070 power Acer's gaming laptop. They are joined by a bright, 16:10 aspect ratio, 16-inch display (WQXGA, 165 Hz, G-Sync), a USB-4 port and very good battery life. The results are impressive. Find out more in our extensive review.

Focused on games. The Focus 17 wants to convince with its core competencies alone. And those read quite impressive: An i9-13900HX with 32 threads, a 240 Hz panel, and the RTX 4070 promise a high speed even in current games without sacrificing details.
