Long runtimes thanks to Lunar Lake. Acer's Swift 14 AI is a compact and lightweight multimedia laptop which has access to Intel's brand-new and pretty efficient Lunar Lake architecture. The Arc Graphics 130V iGPU which we have yet to test had to compete with the 140V as well as its predecessors in the benchmarks.

Goodbye hyperthreading. After the release of the Snapdragon X Elite chips as well as the AMD Zen 5 CPUs, Intel has finally launched its new Lunar Lake mobile processors. These are completely new chips with a focus on efficiency—plus, Intel has done without hyperthreading for the first time. Better than the MacBook Air? With the new MagicBook Art 14, Honor offers a great subnotebook with a high-resolution OLED touchscreen and a Meteor Lake processor. The attachable webcam is also a real innovation that works excellently. Cooling is provided by a vapor chamber.

Flat 17-incher with performance problems. With the S20 laptop, Medion has launched a 17.3-inch multimedia notebook onto the market. For 1,000 euros, the complete package of the notebook available at Aldi consists of 16 GB RAM, 16:9 IPS display, a one terabyte M.2 SSD, and the built-in Intel Core Ultra 7 155H.

XMG now also without a dedicated GPU. With the new XMG Evo 15, the German manufacturer Schenker wants to tap into a new target group that wants a modern notebook without a dedicated graphics card. In addition to the excellent 500-nit IPS panel, the outstanding maintenance options with 2x SO-DIMM and 2x SSD slots stand out in particular.

Takes it slowly. Medion's S10 is a slim multimedia laptop with Meteor Lake, 16 GB RAM and a vivid OLED panel (4k, DCI-P3, 16 inches) with a 16:10 aspect ratio. Praiseworthy: Its RAM can be swapped out/upgraded. This total package retails for around US$1,400.

AI as a marketing tool? Minisforum is renewing its model range based on the Intel Meteor Lake processors: The UH125 Pro is being launched based on the Intel Core Ultra 5 125H. You can also look forward to a wealth of connectivity, which is currently among the most modern with USB4 and OCuLink. We took a detailed look at the device and analyzed its performance based on numerous measurements and benchmarks.

Could barely be any slimmer. LG's Gram laptops are slim and lightweight. Under the name LG Gram Pro, the manufacturer is now launching a laptop to top it all off. It is even slimmer, more lightweight and has even more power at its disposal.

Great performance and a 120-Hz display. Xiaomi's RedmiBook Pro 14 is a fast and inexpensive 14-inch laptop with an Intel Meteor Lake processor and 32 GB RAM. Its high-resolution IPS display runs at 120 Hz and its 80-Wh battery ensures impressive runtimes.

Finally packing a punch and OLED. For a long time, LG's laptops have impressed with their lightweight design and excellent display but, when it comes to computing power, LG hasn't exactly blown us away. The Gram Pro 2-in-1 shows that LG can also make powerful laptops. Only the weight remains area in which the manufacturer continues to be economical.

Like an XPS 13, but better. Lenovo's ThinkBook 13x G4 is a high-quality and compact subnotebook that delivers solid results in almost all disciplines. The IPS screen in 3:2 format is bright and offers 120 Hz, while the Core Ultra 5 125H is fast and the battery runtimes are also good. However, the ThinkBook falls short in terms of the keyboard and maintenance options.

A perfect all-rounder? The name AtomMan stands for the new high-end series from Minisforum. It starts with the Minisforum AtomMan X7 Ti, which is designed as a compact and powerful PC for demanding tasks. Minisforum is the first manufacturer to install a 4-inch touch display in its AI mini-PC with Intel Core Ultra 9 185H. We have analyzed in detail whether the new high-end mini-PC from the Far East can meet the high performance requirements.

Up to 64 GB RAM. Dell has created the new XPS 13 out of its old XPS 13 Plus and—the same as with its larger siblings—this means it has an unconventional keyboard and an annoying touchbar. The new Core Ultra processor from Intel delivers decent everyday performance, however, its IPS display is a lot dimmer than advertized.

Intel or AMD after all? The IdeaPad Pro 5 16 is a large multimedia laptop fitted with one of the latest Meteor Lake processors, a 120-Hz display and modern connectivity options. However, Lenovo also offers an AMD model and we want to find out which one is the better choice.

Price performance champion. A metal case, Core Ultra 7, 32 GB of RAM, a 3K IPS display, and a good keyboard - the RedmiBook Pro 16 offers all that for less than 1,000 Euros (~$1,066). In addition, a large 99-Wh battery ensures an extremely long battery life and Thunderbolt 4 is also included.

Out of its teething troubles? LG's new Gram has stayed true to the series. From the outside, barely anything has changed about the slim 17-inch device. On the inside, a Meteor Lake processor now powers the laptop. However, LG has quietly and secretly eliminated a few of the points of criticism which we raised about our test device's predecessors.

Big gains over Raptor Lake! AcePC's Wizbox AI is among the first mini PCs powered by Intel's latest Meteor Lake mobile processors to be tested by Notebookcheck. Affordable Intel GPU still too expensive? For those who dare to give Intel a chance as desktop GPU manufacturer, there is now the Intel Arc A380. For a relatively low purchase price, you get a small graphics card and 6 GB of VRAM, although you shouldn't expect too much in terms of gaming performance. We took a closer look at the performance of the affordable Intel graphics card, the Sparkle Arc A380 Elf, and analyzed it with numerous benchmarks.
