OnePlus Pay is the latest smartphone OEM-provisioned digital wallet platform on the market. To date, it only works in China, although it could expand to other markets later. As with other similar services, it allows a user to store card details and pay for things like public transport.

Real-life images of the OnePlus 8 Pro leaked

A couple of images of the real OnePlus 8 Pro smartphone have been leaked online. It appears the upcoming device looks exactly like recent renders, as it sports a punch-hole selfie camera in the top left corner and features an identical quad-camera setup on the rear. It’s believed the phone will be launched in April and may cost US$799.

SD 865-powered OnePlus 8 Pro placed 22nd in AI-Benchmark results behind the Xiaomi Mi 10, Galaxy S20, and Oppo Find X2, Kirin 990-based phones top the chart

The OnePlus 8 Pro gets featured on the AI Benchmark leaderboard but seems to have mustered a rather mediocre score in the benchmark when compared to other flagship phones powered by the Snapdragon 865 and even some of the Kirin 810-powered phones. Leading the pack is the Kirin 990 5G in the Huawei Mate 30 Pro 5G, which is indicative of Huawei's prowess in NPU design.

OnePlus will do a Samsung and unveil a full 5G lineup for its upcoming launch

OnePlus co-founder and CEO Pete Lau said that the company's upcoming launch will see the complete lineup supporting 5G. While the top-tier OnePlus 8 Pro and OnePlus 8 variants are confirmed and will have 5G support, it is not yet clear whether the purported OnePlus 8 Lite variant would feature 5G given the higher costs of implementing the standard.

There are apparently several of these robots, which will be used to play games in which they fire 120 miles per hour (mph) snowballs at each other. OnePlus Gallery found to conflict with Google Photos gobbling-up onboard storage

OnePlus smartphone users are reporting that deleting photos from the Google Photos app does not completely remove them from the device. Instead, the photos are moved to the OnePlus Gallery app's recycle bin, which takes up space over time unless the user identifies and removes them manually from the Gallery app.

DxOMark has now put the OnePlus 7T Pro through its camera test. The phone recorded the exact same overall score as the older OnePlus 7 Pro. That makes sense, of course, seeing as both phones feature essentially the same SoC and identical camera hardware. If cameras are your major concern, there's no point buying the OnePlus 7T Pro over the OnePlus 7 Pro.

It exchanges the glass rear panel normally found on this phone (the 6) for a more original backing made of wood. A series of tests have shown the Google Pixel 4 XL hilariously outpacing the OnePlus 7T in real-world, resource-intensive processing tasks. The fact that the Pixel 4 XL has less RAM and a weaker SoC than the 7T makes it all the more impressive.
