Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro smartphone tops Soomal's display evaluation charts but there's no Huawei P40, OPPO Find X2, or Samsung Galaxy S20 to oppose it
The Chinese display evaluation site Soomal has given the Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro smartphone high enough marks for the device to jump to the top of both of its display mark charts. The Mi 10 Pro scored 54 points in the user experience test, which puts it tied in first place along with the Apple iPhone 11 Pro, OnePlus 7 Pro, and the Samsung Galaxy S10+. The Xiaomi smartphone’s display reaped subjective praise for not being too reflective, for being easy to use outdoors, and for having great color reproduction.
In the more objective professional color tests carried out by Soomal, the Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro topped the chart again with 62 points, although once more it had to share first place, this time with the Apple iPhone X. The Mi 10 Pro managed a color-space gamut of 100.62% (sRGB), ideal color accuracy results (average DeltaE 0.79, maximum DeltaE 2.44), and good grayscale accuracy (DeltaE 1.23). The Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro has a 6.67-inch AMOLED screen with a resolution of 2340x1080 pixels and a 90 Hz refresh rate. Maximum brightness was measured at 881 cd/m2.
No doubt Xiaomi will be very pleased with this particular screen evaluation for the Mi 10 Pro, especially as the smartphone has managed to top both display mark charts. However, Soomal does not have entries for flagship rivals such as the Huawei P40, OPPO Find X2, or Samsung Galaxy S20 yet, so it might only be a short reign for the Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro before its display-evaluation crown is usurped.
