It appears Xiaomi is preparing yet another addition for the popular Mi 10 series in the form of the Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro+ smartphone. Some key specifications about the flagship device have been revealed in leaked marketing material posted on Weibo. The purported Mi 10 Pro+ will feature a Snapdragon 865 SoC, so there is no upgrade to the rumored SD 865 Plus chipset that recently appeared on AnTuTu.
Along with the high-end processor, the Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro+ will apparently feature a few upgrades over the Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro. For instance, the rumored smartphone will have a 120 Hz refresh rate compared to 90 Hz for the predecessor. 50 W fast-charge technology is increased to 65 W, and optical zoom rises from 10x to 12x. It seems likely there will be other upgrades over the Mi 10 Pro to justify the existence of the Mi 10 Pro+.
Additional rumors concerning the Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro+ include the use of a 100 MP main camera sensor, the presence of a massive 16 GB of RAM, and 40 W wireless fast charging. If all these leaks and rumors about the Mi 10 Pro+ end up being accurate, it will be the new flagship smartphone to beat, even if it doesn’t feature the practically mythical Snapdragon 865 Plus chip.
