The eminent Weibo leaker Digital Chat Station has dropped a number of hints as to the launch schedules of what could be the next flagships from Xiaomi and Redmi. The latter may have the MediaTek Dimensity 1000+ SoC and is thought to be the first of these 3 to debut. That leaves what are thought to be the Mi 10 Pro+ and, finally, the next-gen Mi Mix.

Should some recent leaks be believed, the Mi 10 Pro is not in fact the most premium of its Xiaomi-made generation after all. This crown may in fact be the 10 Pro+ (or Plus), an ultra-premium product that improves on the current flagship in terms of charging technology and display refresh rate.

This may enable its maker to market it as 'faster' than the current Pro variant, despite the fact they are rumored to share the same Snapdragon 865 chipset.

An extensive panel of Weibo posts from Digital Chat Station may have slightly spoiled this Mi 10 Pro Plus' launch announcement. The reliable tipster now estimates that it will pertain to August 2020. The leaker also now seems to concur with some earlier leaks that point to the "Redmi K40" getting to debut beforehand, however.

To be more specific, Digital Chat Station hinted that a phone from this brand with the Dimensity 1000+ (or MT6889) processor, a high (possibly even 144Hz) display refresh rate and a large battery has an approximate launch window set for July 2020. These specs are currently linked to a phone code-named karna that may indeed be released as part of the K-series.

Finally, the Weibo rumor-spring got considerably more vague when referring to another Xiaomi flagship. Whichever phone it turns out to be (the Mi Mix 4, perhaps?), its own unveiling is apparently slated to be left until the third quarter of 2020. This may indeed leave the device squarely in the cross-hairs of the Huawei Mate 40 Pro, a phablet also thought to be a singular feat in terms of next-gen design.
