Let's start right away, the recently launched Oppo Find X2 Pro achieved exactly the same score in the popular DXOMARK camera test as the previous leader Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro, namely 124 total points. The individual ratings in the photo and video categories are exactly the same as well, with 134 points and 104 points.
However, the testers indicated that they had received a pre-series model from Oppo for the test. This should already have the same firmware as the models that will be delivered to consumers from April. Nevertheless, some changes cannot be ruled out, the Find X2 Pro may even be able to increase its score in a follow-up test.
Despite identical end values, there are minimal differences. The Mi 10 Pro is a little more convincing when it comes to zoom and texture mapping, while the new Oppo smartphone is particularly balanced and convinces in almost every discipline - but the differences are only within a few percentage points. The testers were particularly impressed by the good autofocus and the convincing stabilization. The aperture also worked extremely well, especially in video mode.
