Huawei's latest smartwatch here and it is rather affordable. Priced at AED 399 (~US$109) and thought to retail for €119 in Europe eventually, the Huawei Watch Fit looks like a stretched Apple Watch without a Digital Crown. The Huawei Watch Fit has a SpO2 sensor, an optical heart rate sensor, 5 ATM water resistance, GPS and up to 10 days of battery life.

A respected leaker has reportedly let it be known that the successor to the Mi Band 4 will be unleashed on the Indian market soon. It will apparently be joined there by the Mi Watch Revolve, the global version of Xiaomi's first round-faced smartwatch. However, the tipster did not mention an exact date for this event.

Realme will launch the Realme 7 and Realme 7 Pro on September 3. Details of the device have now been revealed, showing a phone aimed straight at the heart of the Redmi Note 9 Pro and even successfully outperforming it in some key aspects.

Huawei has been rumored to release the first phone with HarmonyOS - its contingency against the loss of access to Android - out of the box by the end of 2020. However, the CEO of its Consumer Business Group has reportedly confirmed that this will not be the case. Resurrection Remix has announced a new stable version of its custom ROM that is based on Android 10. Resurrection Remix 8.5.7 is now available to download for Xiaomi and Redmi devices, such as the Xiaomi Mi A2, Mi 9T, Redmi Note 7 Pro, Redmi Note 8, and Pocophone F1. The custom ROM can also be used with smartphones from other OEMs.

The Redmi Note 9 series offers some of the best value smartphones on the market but it appears Xiaomi's quality control isn't quite up to par. There have now been multiple reports of defective camera modules that fail to prevent dust from getting under the glass, with Xiaomi acknowledging the issue.

OPPO is currently thought to have updates for its Reno4 series of premium mid-range phones in the works. The highest-end of these may be the first to launch with the also-rumored Snapdragon 860 processor. This SoC, as the name suggests, is projected to be a "Lite" version of the 865.

It's unknown if Xiaomi will bring the Mi 10 Ultra to the rest of the world but fans in Europe are already trying to make their voices heard, by creating a petition asking Xiaomi to bring its most impressive mass-production flagship phone yet to Europe.

After releasing the OnePlus Nord a while ago, it appears OnePlus isn't done with catering for the non-flagship segments. New information has now surfaced, strongly indicating that the company could be set to release an entry-level device powered by the Snapdragon 460.

Huawei has developed a new pair of smart glasses in collaboration with Gentle Monster. The new glasses feature a range of smart features, including an integrated voice assistant and built-in microphones. The Huawei x Gentle Monster Eyewear II support touch controls, too.

The Xiaomi Mi Mix smartphone is a true work of art and this has been reconfirmed by a recent social media post by Xiaomi’s co-founder and CEO Lei Jun. The full-screen smartphone was released in 2016 and the noted French architect and designer Philippe Starck was heavily involved in the creation of the Mi Mix.

The Huawei Mate 20 and Mate 20 Pro are receiving new updates. This month's download brings the two former flagships onto the August set of security patches and addresses multiple CVEs. Similarly, Huawei has extended the rollout of the July 2020 security patches to the European editions of the P20 and P20 Pro.

Rumour has it that a Xiaomi Mi CC10 or Mi CC10 Pro has been spotted on Geekbench, complete with a Snapdragon 865 chipset and 8 GB of RAM. The reality could not be further from the truth though, so do not get your hopes up for a Mi CC9 Pro or Mi Note 10 Pro successor anytime soon.

An expected set of features for the upcoming EMUI 11 has been posted online. The features include an improved GPU Turbo, a refreshed dark mode, better file sharing and overhauled gestures among other changes and innovations.

Redmi Note 8 owners aren't too happy about the fact their phones are yet to receive the Android 10 or MIUI 12 updates. A tentative timeline pegged the Android 10 update as due to arrive in early August but that doesn't look to be feasible now either.
