Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 and Mi 8 Pro (UD) receive new MIUI 12 updates
Xiaomi continues to bring MIUI 12 to more devices, but it has not quite finished the rollouts for some handsets in all regions. The Redmi Note 9 has already received the company's latest OS upgrade in China, Europe and India, for example, and now the upgrade has reached more branches of MIUI.
The Indonesian and Russian branches of MIUI have now been graced by the upgrade too, and the recovery ROMs for both have been published should you wish to install them manually. Both branches have been upgraded to V12.0.1.0, which is an older version of MIUI 12 than global, Chinese and European editions have received. Xiaomi is issuing V12.0.1.0.QJORUXM and V12.0.1.0.QJOIDXM as over-the-air (OTA) upgrades.
Additionally, Xiaomi has re-issued MIUI 12 to the Mi 8 Pro (UD). The new update, called V12.0.2.0.QECCNXM, brings devices running V11.0.2.0.QECCNXM onto MIUI 12. If the update is not available as on OTA on your device, then you can download it via the link below and install it manually.
