Xiaomi's Mi True Wireless Earphones 2 Pro may launch soon following an appearance on the Bluetooth SIG database
Xiaomi is preparing a new pair of TWS earphones for its Mi series of such products. This is now clearly apparent in a new official leak that calls them by their probable product name (True Wireless Earphones 2 Pro), as with the last. Therefore, it seems they will be on the way soon.
It also appears that they will be launched alongside another new pair of Mi buds with a sought-after spec: active noise cancellation (ANC). The Bluetooth SIG has inadvertently affirmed that the 2 Pros and these devices (the Xiaomi Mi Active Noise Cancelling Wireless Earphones) are discrete products, as they now both have their own certifications on this database.
Therefore, it seems Mi earphone fans may have to choose between ANC and "Pro" features in their next pair of TWS accessories from the line. On that note, it is not completely clear what imbues the latter with its new designation.
Then again, we now know that they will feature Bluetooth 5.0 alongside wireless charging. In addition, the 2 Pros also exhibit a new design (compared to their possible predecessors, the AirDots 2 Pro) with a slanting, shiny outer surface that might be intended for touch controls. However, only their impending launch by Xiaomi will confirm that for sure.
