Xiaomi Mi Note 10, Mi Note 10 Pro and Mi Note 10 Lite receive global MIUI 12 updates

sddXiaomi may be on the verge of releasing the Mi 10T series, but it still has time to update the Mi Note 10 series. The company recently upgraded the European editions of the Mi Note 10 and Mi Note 10 Pro to MIUI 12, and now it has formally released the OS update to global models. Until now, Xiaomi had been beta testing the update for the Mi Note 10 and Mi Note 10 Pro, but V12.0.1.0.QFDMIXM is now rolling out to all handsets.

The inaugural MIUI 12 update for both devices will arrive as an over-the-air (OTA) upgrade, but the recovery ROM can be downloaded via the link below. We would not recommend installing it on the Mi CC9 Pro, though.

By contrast, the Mi Note 10 Lite has been upgraded to V12.0.2.0 of MIUI 12. The update is called V12.0.2.0.QFNMIXM and is also rolling out to handsets as an OTA. Again, you can download the recovery ROM via the link below. However, please note that it is a 2.2 GB download. In comparison, the OTA file comes in at around 659 MB.
