LG is now throwing a pair of TONE Free TWS earbuds in with every puchase of most 2020 OLED TVs

LG USA has announced a new promotion for its 2020 series of OLED TVs. It involves the offer of a pair of TONE Free truly wireless (TWS) earbuds with the purchase of the vast majority of this new range. To briefly recap, the former includes the OEM's first "Real 8K" models with this screen technology, NVIDIA G-SYNC compatibility and the latest generation of the well-named Wallpaper series, whereas the latter feature noise-isolating seals (albeit not true ANC) and immersive Headphone Spatial Processing (HSP).

However, it should be noted that the free pair of earbuds are the HBS-FN4 variants of their line, and thus not the ones with the UV-enabled case that (as LG claims) can kill up to 99.9% of common potential bacterial pathogens while the earbuds charge. In addition, the offer excludes the 55- and 65-inch variants of the BX OLED TV sub-series (which are the cheapest for their sizes).

Nevertheless, the offer apparently applies regardless of any other promotions or bundles (ones that include a new LG soundbar, for example) in effect at the time of purchase. To claim the free earbuds (which have a normal recommended price of US$99.99), the customer needs to have bought their eligible TV in either the 50 US states, the District of Columbia or Puerto Rico, and to complete this online form. This offer is valid from now until August 30, 2020.
