The AirDots Pro are Xiaomi devices that conform to the "toothbrush" form factor of truly-wireless earbuds. Chinese social media users have spotted what looks like their packaging, but with a new product name, in a photograph. The box suggests that these wearables have, if anything, become more Apple-esque than their predecessors.

The AirDots Pro are Xiaomi earbuds that are also known as the Air Bluetooth Earphones or the Mi True Wireless Earphones, depending on where they are sold. The are true-wireless devices that, as opposed to those like the Redmi AirDots, take after Apple's originals in their looks. An accidental leak has hinted at successors for these earphones.

Eagle-eyed Weibo and SlashLeaks users have spotted evidence of this in a photo of 2 people posing in what may be a Xiaomi workplace. A box with Xiaomi branding that looks like the original packaging for Air Bluetooth Earphones can be seen in the background of this image. However, lettering on it starts with the term "Air2", a heretofore-unknown product name.

Therefore, it appears the box goes to a new generation of Xiaomi wireless buds. According to what else can be seen on it, it has actually become even more like AirPods in terms of design. The silicone ear-tips with which the originals were shipped are gone, and the shiny ring delineating a touch-sensitive control pad on their outer faces may also have been phased out. However, the case in which these Bluetooth earphones charge appears unchanged in these putative AirDots Pro 2.
