The Mi 9S may be the next 5G device to be released by Xiaomi. Some reports on this subject suggest that it may be a Chinese-market exclusive. This is a space that is looking a lot more populated than it had been at the start of the year.
Its latest addition is the 5G version of the iQOO Pro, which currently holds the title of the cheapest 5G phone in the country. Its base model, which has 8GB of RAM, costs 3798 yuan (about US$540). Now, a new leak suggests that the Mi 9S may be even cheaper when it is released.
Other recent reports indicate that the Mi 9S may also come with 45 watt (W) charging as standard. As its putative iQOO competition can charge at 44W, it will not be far behind in that respect, however. To date, not much else is known about the new Xiaomi 5G device. However, it is also now rumored that the OEM will pack the Snapdragon 855 Plus and UFS 3.0 memory into this phone.
