Huawei and Honor have gone to the Bluetooth Special Interest Group (SIG) to register an impressive number of new wireless products. These certifications, which have all been granted today (August 15, 2019) cover obvious candidates such as phones, but also include others that may be the brands' next generations of headsets, earphones and speakers.

The OEM Huawei, in conjunction with its brand Honor, has certified approximately 30 new products with Bluetooth SIG on the same day. These new registrations are all dated August 15, 2019, and cover nearly the whole gamut of mobile technology, from phones to fitness trackers. Some of these devices are labelled as tablets, whereas others are the brands' upcoming smartwatches.

Most of these products have model numbers rather than names. Most of them have 2- or 3-character prefixes, which are followed by multiple variations. The majority of these new motifs (ANA, ELS, BAL, BMH, BMP, BQB, BRQ, EDI, EGB, GNA, JEF, JEP, JLA, JSC, YKB and YOK) are described as smartphones from either Honor or Huawei. 5 others (BDY, FSL, GIG, HLT and WGR) are future Huawei tablets, whereas 5 more (LTN, DAN, GLL, GAL and Mol) are to be Honor smartwatches.

Some other new devices, on the other hand, are associated with the one-word term, 'Shark'. They are associated with an "accessory" and with Bluetooth earphones from Huawei. Given the hint of the same in the SHK motif found in additional new wearables from Honor, it is possible that Shark is in fact a heretofore-unreleased technology or feature from Huawei.

This intriguing new teaser for new Honor/Huawei products doesn't end there, though: the new certifications also list speakers from either brand. They are associated with model numbers along the lines of AM5xxx or CM5xxx, and, like most of these new devices, have numerous variants. Finally, a Honor AM-CRB09 "Sport Smart Device" is found right at the end of this extensive list.

All of these devices (except for "Accessory, HUAWEI, Shark") have one thing in common, however: they will all come with the emerging Bluetooth 5.1 standard. Therefore, they may be released with the unique points of improved connectivity compared to preceding generations of products from this OEM.
