Huawei and its sub-brand Honor has attracted attention recently as it has sent what seems to be a whole generation of new smartphones, tablets and assorted wireless accessories to the Bluetooth SIG for certification simultaneously. Now, however, it has done the same with even more products. They include 6 new models clearly labelled as TVs.

Huawei and Honor have cleared a multitude of new devices with the Bluetooth SIG - for the second time in 2 days. The first of these (August 15, 2019) saw the two brands certify 16 new phones, along with 5 new tablets and 5 new smartwatches. The following day saw a similar performance, and also broadened the range of categories into which the new devices fell.

These products also include phones in some cases. Some of their novel model-number prefixes, LIO and TAS, have popped up in previous leaks. One variant of each - LIO-AL00 and TAS-AL00 - have also secured approval from the Chinese regulator TENAA, leading to speculation that they are in fact the Mate 30 and 30 Pro

6 additional new models (FREU, FREG, SOKR, SART, KANT and LOCK) are listed as TVs. Therefore, it is possible that 1 or more of them will comprise the Honor Vision smart screen that is to be released for sale soon. An entire page of these new Bluetooth SIG certifications are devoted to "TV Remote Controls" from either Huawei or Honor, alongside "Home Environment" and "Bluetooth Touch & Voice" devices from the same.

This suggests that Huawei and Honor are preparing a whole new range of smart home products for the future, some of which may or may not be launched in conjunction with the Vision. Finally, some of these new devices also fall into the "router" and "speaker" categories.
